as many of you know, I was a bridesmaid in a wedding in December.

 

I never posted about it, but I loved it.

I am a party planner at heart, so to be a part of someone's special day and all the behind the scenes stuff is SO awesome!

 



 

of course it was a whole weekend of fun & getting ready:

 

 

 

nails done, Starbucks runs, lunch dates, "bride" shirts, rehearsal bouquet, rehearsal dinner, & goofy pictures- we all had a good time!

 

Rehearsal:

(we were sort of obsessed with the Bridesmaids pose the whole weekend)
 

 and then... it was the BIG DAY!!

obviously I couldn't get any pictures during the ceremony, but it was perfect!
( and none of us passed out or tripped!)

and before we knew it, it was over.

It flew by and NOTHING went wrong.

seriously the most smooth event I have ever been to!

I'm back!

[I was going to take a leave of absence from blogger.
but why? I don't want to, so I am not going to!] lucky YOU!

I have so very much to catch up on, but today does not feel like the right day to pull out the old stuff, but it is all coming!

 

Feeling a tad motivational today, I can't help it,

it is contagious!

 

especially happy about my mom having a successful surgery of getting cysts removed. I know she is not having a particularly good time, but to hear it is noncancerous is the best thing ever!!!!

I know it is December and all... but I am enjoying wearing summer clothes a little.

I pretended today was July and wore cutoff shorts, a tank, and no makeup.

In other news, I got to see my very favorite people Saturday night!!

(sad that I missed seeing you though Brittney. dang schedules)

 

 

so we hear they are at a bar in City Center...

me & liana were cracking up about how schmancy it was as we were headed there.

we were not at all dressed for City Center and were very surprised our friends felt like being so upscale...

 

turns out we know our friends better than we thought and they were actually at a hole in the wall bar right outside of the City Center area.

 

much more our style for the evening.

 

I know we are those people that you are jealous of.

just so good looking.

 

but all that matters is that we had a good time, and that we did!

What I'm loving today:

 

I am loving that my awesome friends came to visit me over Thanksgiving break!

 

Travis was in my 1st grade class, in 2nd grade he stole my favorite pencil, in middle shool we listened to Blink 182, and in high school we lived down the street from each other. And now he lives in Nashville playing the drums & touring.

 

Timothy and I met in 3rd grade, we went to Astroworld together all the time, in 9th grade he went to St.Thomas high school & we went to homecoming, and in college we went to UT football games. and now he lives in L.A. auditioning and getting famous.

I went out the other night.

 

That is a BIG deal.

 

I had eaten way too much on Thanksgiving, worked 10:30-9 on Black Friday

(which was extra busy), and then had a 10:30-9 work day the next day.

 

 

I was impressed that I was up for it, but I miss my friends & it had been too long since we had all hung out. plus it was sort of Preston's birthday.
