I was so lucky to get to go to Cancun last week.

 

It was AWESOME.

 

No cell  phones, no internet (went to the business center 2X a day to check on the store though!), no people in a hurry, no one in a bad mood.

 

Just the sand, the sun, drinks, good company... and iguanas.

but they stayed far enough away lol

 

 

and this is why I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mexico (I'm not partial to Cancun, Playa del Carmen, etc. they all feel the same & I love them equally):

 

1. Drinks.

 

It is perfectly acceptable to drink at any time of the day in Mexico. Not that I do have beer at 10am often, but if I want to, it is okay!  You can also drink out of coconuts!

 

 

 

 

2. You can go on fun excursions.

( and look like a complete dork in doing so)

 

 

Our speed boat/snorkeling trip was really cool.

 

 

 

3. You can drink "Cristal" and be Mona Lisa.

 

oh you fancy, huh?!

 

 

4. Swimming with Dolphins:

 

YOU HAVE TO DO THIS BEFORE YOU DIE!

 

I didn't feel like splurging on the professional pics, sort of regret it now

bc I was smiling so BIG like a little kid. Best hour ever. DO IT!

 

We got to feed them, kiss them, swim with them, and they even pushed us up out of the water. loved it.

 

 

5. The local bars are so fun!

6. You live in Bathing Suits

7. Tequila "Tastings" and Sombreros!

10. It is just SO BEAUTIFUL!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I don't think I will ever get tired of going to Mexico.

Jamie & Ryan got married last month!

 

I love love love them!

 

Sometimes you just meet people and you "click", that is exactly what happened with me and Jamie. I haven't even known her a year, but it feels like a lifetime & I am so blessed that her and Ryan are now a part of my life. I hope I can be at least half of the friend to them, that they have been to me!

Bachelorette Weekend!

 

 

 

I'm baaaaaack!

Goodness, I have been ALL over, here lately:

2 nights in the Hill Country, 1 night in New Braunfels, 6 nights in Cancun, 3 nights Housesitting/Dog Sitting, & then I'm moving into my apartment in between all that.

yeah I started paying rent July 1st and have yet to actually sleep there...

but all the fun has been, well. uh. FUN and I am glad to be getting back into a routine!

coming up really soon is someone very specials BIG DAY...

and a month later another someone specials BIG DAY.

 

 

 

and they are in each others wedding party, so we had a nice little

 We started the weekend off by getting up Friday morning and getting on a nice little bus that took us to four wineries.
We had wine tastings, road beers, lunch on the patio, and lots of fun!

Saturday we got up and headed out to the river!
 

floating the river is def in my top 5 favorite things to do.
New Braunfels is also my favorite place in Texas.
something about it, I just LOVE it.
 

 

 

I obviously had a life proof case on my phone for all these pictures.
but I did drop it TWICE in the river... luckily I have crazy awesome friends who found it both times...

but then they made me throw it in the cooler for the rest of the float.
probably need to get my phone a little life jacket.

after floating all day, we hit up some tex-mex for dinner & headed to a chill little bar.

Sunday we all headed out & I grabbed some dippin' dots for breakfast...

bc it sounded really good & I hear breakfast is the most important meal.
just trying to be healthy.

 

 

overall it was a really fun trip and now the countdown begins for the BIG DAY...

25 DAYS!
