3 Blogs in a week?!

my blog stalker must be super excited.

skipping "Friday's Letters" this week bc I am not feeling creative. AT ALL.

but I can of course fill in some blanks...

1. Something I am very proud of is my boutique. my friends & family, they inspire me for sure .

2. My favorite thing about myself is I get people, I understand why they act a certain way and make certain decisions and I can appreciate their life path. It is so much easier to be friends with everyone when you aren't concerned about making them be a certain way, you take them for who they are - random tangent sorry!

3. My favorite color for fall is I like all colors, but I am really loving charcoal right now.

4. Something I've been learning lately is I have been learning so much lately, so so much. but mostly that eating whatever you want will catch up to you and you may gain 7lbs in a couple weeks if you continue: ]

5. A book I am reading now/have read recently is The Happiness Project. I need to read... I've had that book way too long!

6. My favorite Pandora Station is Chris Brown, Drake, Today's R&B and Hip Hop, and John Mayer when I am feeling white lol

7. This weekend I will be in CHICAGO!!! Eating, drinking, sightseeing!

I have been so overwhelmed lately. overwhelmed in a good way.

I feel so beyond blessed & sometimes at the end of the day I am locking up my boutique and I just cannot believe it is real. it is here. and it blows my mind.

so so grateful.

and also so overwhelmed by support and the amazing customers I have. It has been 5 weeks and I have "regulars" already and I love them so much. It makes me so happy when someone finds that perfect dress for their birthday, dinner, dates, parties, gifts, etc.

so much happiness.

Hello Wednesday!

This week is flyyyyyying by & I leave for

CHICAGO

early, early Saturday morning.

(emphasis on early... 6am flight?! why did I do that?!)

Anyway got lots to do before leaving, but I promised to get back into blogging!

Here is what I am loving this awesome Wednesday:

-First of all, the weather! I know I am the 8745984590 person to say that today if you are anywhere close to where I am... but it is PERFECT... I never say much is perfect, but this weather is! I wish I was sitting outside so badly. I don't need anything to do. I just want to sit OUTSIDE. I love it!

-I am loving that Monday I took my little sister to get a pedicure with me! I love her so much, she is always cracking me up!

-I am loving all the new clothes at my store!

-I love that last week I got pulled over for speeding... and got a WARNING! whoo hoo. Thank you Mr. Officer.

-I am loving these shoes I got on sale... from $80 to $19- and cute too!

-and as always, I am loving Pinterest:

Happy Tuesday!

I hope everyone had a great weekend and Monday.

I have been trying to balance working and still doing stuff. oh I miss my homies so badly though.

warning: longish blog post .... sorry!

Friday:

I had "Dinner Club", this month was my choice, & I picked Maggiano's bc I knew everyone would like it and they give you lots of food! First Dinner Club that we even had leftovers lol

I think I can speak for everyone when I say we ate and drank until we were sick.

ugh. I do it every time!

as always, it was a great time.

Saturday:

-Sammy had a triathlon! It was an early morning, but I couldn't miss it. She cracked me up when I got there bc of course she was wearing a pink, frilly bathing suit!

-Work was awesome, second highest day in sales since I opened! and it was our ONE MONTH anniversary- crazy! sometimes it feels like I just opened, sometimes it feels like this is all I've ever done.

-Saturday night something happened and I suddenly thought it was Friday night... maybe bc I got off early Friday night?! Who knows, but I remembered it was game day & so me, Aaron, & Kels grabbed dinner/drinks @ Brickhouse and watched UT kill Ole Miss.

Sunday:

-Sunday I went to church & to work (missed way too much football). It is just not the same on espn.com- I HAVE to get a TV at work! but I heard my Steelers played beautifully!

-Sunday Night I went to the in-laws for fajitas and football.

This may or may not have happened:

Lauren said everyone needs that one friend that wears the penguin suit...she is that friend to some, and I guess I am too.

Fridays feel weird

Dear Fridays, you have a totally different meaning now that I have a business. I still feel the relief of the work week being over, but I work way more on the weekends, so it is confusing! Dear Body, why are you trying to give up on me? I seriously feel like I am getting sick and all I can do is sleep too much. ugh. Dear stomach, stop being hungry... ALL the time! Dear Blog Readers, sorry I sound depressing this week lol Dear Dinner Club, Maggiano's tonight! Hooray! Can't wait to see you all. Dear Football, glad to have you back in my life, and now even on Thursdays... beautiful! (I have got to get a TV for work ASAP!)

Since the week is over & I didn't really blog... I guess I could recap last weekend.

Friday: I worked (I work til 9pm on Fridays, so I usually want to do nothing!). Aaron & I went and tried a new restaurant by where I work. It was okay, not my favorite bc it wasn't "tex-mex", but we did have beer, and any meal with beer/chips & salsa is okay with me!

Saturday: My mom and I headed to market, we did some shopping for the store, but it turned into a super relaxing/football watching weekend!

Sunday: You know Sunday was ALL about FOOTBALL!

We watched the games @ the Gaylord Texan Sports Bar

then went to the pool for a litte bit

and then got ready for the Steelers game

(so mad I didn't get a picture of my mom in my Steelers jersey lol )

I really thought we had that game for a little bit...

so I ate away my emotions with this:

Overall it was a great weekend and I wish every weekend I could devote that much time to shopping, eating, & watching football! lol

Chicago Again?!

OMG... I guess I ruined the surprise of where I am traveling to...

but yes.

CHICAGO!!!

I am coming back to see youuuuuuu.

(In a couple of weeks)

It was a last minute decision to go ahead and go to my cousins wedding!
I am so excited bc I thought I was going to have to miss out.

You see it is sort of pricey to travel & miss work.
luckily I had a flight voucher from last time I flew, so my flight was
F R E E !

Aaron won't be joining bc it's obviously pricey & he has to work.
He knows how much I hate to miss out though,
so me & Kels booked our flights back home together and my parents will be there too!

I sent Vannah this picture
(since I was a few days late on the RSVP)

it is a very fast trip. it was going to be 24 hours, but then I decided to get Sunday covered for me at work since & then it was cheaper to fly out Monday, so it turned into a mini, crazy-filled trip!

I have 98548745 reasons why I shouldn't go, but while I have the oppurtunity, I am going to take it!

me and kels might have named it "YOLO Weekend!". It's okay to laugh (and judge us), but we are going to have fun!

Friday's Letters-

Dear Pittsburgh Steelers, pleeeeeeease do not make yourself or myself look bad on Sunday. Dear Hair, you need to be cut! Dear Spur of the Moment Travel Plans, I am excited! ( I will share more with y'all next week) Dear Friends & Family, I really miss y'all since I have been working 24/7.

this week's topic is escuela (which obviously I loved & wrote too much about. sorry!)

1. My favorite grade in school was probably 3rd, 8th, and 12th! I had pretty much the same friends in my 1st & 2nd grade classes, but 3rd grade it got all switched around and I was scared to death! Luckily I ended up meeting Holly, Blair, Preston, & Timothy in 3rd grade and I still talk to every single one of them to this day. I felt like I could conquer the world in 8th & in 12th grade, I'm also a little sentimental and loved that both of those grades were all about bonding with friends before a whirlwind of change .

2. My favorite teacher was cannot possibly list one. I loved Mrs. Sappington, Mrs. B, Mrs. Killion, Blanchard, Mrs. Hotckiss, Mrs. Geaury, Mrs. Richardson, Mrs. Shaw, Mrs. Hoy, etc! because, I love people and I had an actual friendship with all of them, super cool people .

3. The highest level of education I have completed is a Bachelors degree from University of Houston (thank goodness!) .

4. School lunches for me were usually packed, it is what all the cool kids did. I did eat at school on chicken strip day in middle school though & we had the best cookies & sweet tea in high school.

5. The amount of money you'd have to pay me to go back to high school would be more than what I make at my job now, I loved high school most days, I was ready to grow up, but I would go back for a while to live all the fun carefree days .

6. A few things that will always remind me of going back to school are: School supplies & new clothes .

7. The first day of school was always something I loved! Obviously, I love new clothes and friends, so it was always a fun day for me . Except in college, I always hated the first day bc people don't talk as much and I would feel sickly overwhelmed by hearing a semester of crap I had to do.
